follow mode as in tail -f

Instead of tail -f I tried lnav -f and it stuck in loading the whole log file while I wanted to see only new records.
I see that the lnav supports a follow mode in a pipe like journalctl -f | lnav.
Is it possible to follow the file so that I can use it as a direct tail replacement?

lnav is always monitoring files, loading in new messages, and will follow when you have scrolled down to the bottom of the view. You don't have to do anything to enable this behavior.

The -f is for passing the path to a script to execute on startup.

ok, but the log file is very big and I actually not interested in old records e.g. I going to restart a service and just check that all went ok.
This is kind of useful feature as for me, isn't anyone requested it?
