Header disappears on mobile

Not sure what the best solution is

It's not a great solution, but we hide it to save vertical space — and because there aren't any links in there that are crucial to the function of the app. I always envisioned a slide-out menu with a subtle hamburger icon peeking out next to the top-left "R" that could be a home for these, but I haven't implemented it.
