cutorch does not load

I have tried deleting and installing torch, cutorch, cunn multiple times. However, I am just not able to make require 'cutorch' work.

I removed cutorch using:
luarocks remove cutorch --force

And then re-installed using:
luarocks install cutorch

At the end of installation I get:
cutorch scm-1 is now built and installed in /afs/csail.mit.edu/u/s/smadan/torch/install/ (license: BSD)

But the error still persists.

Error when I try luajit -l cutorch is:

Oops, I met the same problem, did you solve the problem?
