Does this term make any sense when we also have an identification history extension where it too will have terms identifiedBy and scientificName? As with all extensions this present identified concept would apply only to the scientificName in the core.

The Agent extension supports more data on the identifying agent than the Identification History extension. We can just list all people here who identified the specimen (including teams). In principle, this can be done even if an Identification History is not provided.

These names of identifying agetns may also be present in the Identification History extension, but this will be a relation on a string-to-string basis, not by IDs. Unless identifiedByID turns up in the extension as well?
