the way to sanitize html in driopdown items

Hi, i have implemented autocomplete. Now i want to highlight matched parts of text. My code looks like this:

if highlightMatch returns string - i see escaped b tags. If. ireturn safeHtml then i see

 SafeValue must use [property]=binding: Elektrėnų sav., Vievio sen., <b>Vil</b>kabalių k., Lapių g.  (see https://g.co/ng/security#xss) 

is there any standart approach taht i can use?

You can also pass itemContent for custom template for each item and handle it though that
