Changing domain in sympa.conf

Expected behavior

We are trying to update the domain of our sympa installation from example.com to test.example.com. I updated the sympa.conf file and restarted the services to change the domain for all of our existing lists.

Actual behavior

We noticed the following upon changing domain (example.com --> test.example.com) and restarting the service

1. Lost all CSS changes done on example.com. It reverted to default colors.
2. Lost "Create a list using a template" and "Copy an existing list" options from list creation form.
3. Lost list subscribers.

Additional information

So my question is what is the best procedure to change domain in sympa. Our sympe installation is configured as a single domain.
