Is there an existing issue for this?

I have searched the existing issues.

What do you miss?

The #11 needs to be configurable to some extend.

How it is supposed to work/look?

For example, it is high likely, that each user (or bexis2 instance) will use a different pattern for the doi structure.

Do you know a similar solution out there in the wild?
