XDM works on Chromeos with Linux Support

You definitely have to have Linux active on your chromebook, download the binary (deb) and install it yes it requires internet to install since it will need to install some dependencies.

The other part is mostly about the extension, download the source code and head into app/xdm and look for chrome-extension. copy the entire folder and find where to place it on the system either in Linux or under downloads you pick what suits you best.

Then follow the extension instructions and load it to your browser and enjoy this work of art, give credit where credit is due. XDM is a marvelous asset.
