SRI BOB Server

We deployed an ASUS Mini PC on BOB Mining Lab.

Specs:

• CPU: i5-12500H 16 cores
• RAM: 8 GB
• Disk: 500 GB
• OS: Ubuntu 24.04

Remote access for SRI contributors is based on Tailscale:

• CLI access via SSH
• GUI access via VNC Protocol provides a XFCE desktop environment:

to launch Braiins Toolbox:

$ cd ~
$ ./braiins-toolbox

to access via VNC, open a browser on the XFCE desktop environment and point it to 127.0.0.1:8888

in order to check if VNC server is running:

$ vncserver -list
