<p>A complement of degree describes the degree of something. The structured particle "<b>得</b>" (dé) is often used to introduce a complement of degree which makes remarks on the extent or degree an action or the quality or state of something has reached. Sometimes "<b>得</b>" (dé) is not used. For example:</p>
