gitbase repository ID is the repository URL without protocol prefix or .gitsuffix. For example:

https://github.com/src-d/metadata-retrieval.git -> github.com/src-d/metadata-retrieval

metadata-retrieval writes the full URI as a name and makes it difficult to match repo data and metadata.
