rpi-zero - Adding a touch sensor for coin up

Device: rpi-zero using GPIO controller mapping configuration (as a keyboard).
Symptom:
I've mapped the sensor to detect "coin insert". Somehow the signal, when I touch the sensor, gets stuck eternally. So when I press Start button, exits the game.

With Libretro cores (which i've tested previously) does not happen.

Please your guidance.
