Hello,

I'm a software engineer who has been contributing to open source projects since 2016, working on systemd, Kubernetes, eBPF projects, and recently took over as maintainer for the CNCF CNI-Genie project. My interests are in areas of Kubernetes compute and networking.

Most recently, I contributed (mostly working on my own time) a long-awaited major feature to Kubernetes that allows users to resize CPU and/or memory resources for their running workloads without restarts. More info at: https://kubescaler.io/blog/podresize/.

While this is a major milestone, there is much work left to do in order to drive this feature from alpha to GA over the next year+, where it has the potential to deliver significant cost savings and lowered carbon footprint when running Kubernetes workloads. Adequate sponsorship may enable me to find resources to advance this goal and towards funding new ideas in the Kubernetes multi-networking area leveraging eBPF to solve some of the problems posed by Telco requirements.
