👋 Hi, I'm Bobbe! I'm a developer and maker from Berlin, interested in automation, electronics and eurorack modules.

I'm currently studying Computer Science at HU Berlin.

Here are some of the projects I'm currently working on:

pcb2blender - a KiCad to Blender 3D model workflow

This projects aims to significantly reduce the work required to create professionally looking product renders in Blender from KiCad PCB projects.

I'm currently working on:

  • Reworking the current shaders for improved rendering performance and compatiblity with Blender's Realtime Render Engine EEVEE.
  • Offering simpler shader setups to allow GLTF (and other formats) exports for using the models with different 3D software, for example online model viewers.
  • Supporting complex PCB stacks consisting of multiple KiCad PCBs.

inventree_part_import - add supplier parts to InvenTree

This CLI tool allows easy importing of parts from suppliers like DigiKey, Mouser, etc. into InvenTree - an open source inventory management solution.

I'm working on:

  • Supporting more suppliers.
  • Supporting direct order importing via available supplier APIs.
  • Maintaining the code and fixing any issues to ensure stable end-user operation.
  • Looking into integrating the tool directly into InvenTree as a plugin.

spark-inducer - a eurorack module development kit

The spark inducer bridges the gap between breadboarding and eurorack, allowing you to easily prototype your circuits on a breadboard, while offering easy connectivity with other modules and controlability via the included potentiometers.

The main project is finished and you can build one yourself or get a kit at LECTRONZ!

I'm currently working towards creating some accompanying tools for it:

  • a USB-C Eurorack Power Supply, capable of powering the spark-inducer and a couple more modules
  • some more breadboard helpers to quickly add functional blocks like VCOs, VCAs, etc. to your design

low-cost-feeder - cost optimized LumenPnP feeder

The LumenPnP is an open-source pick-and-place machine for assembling electronic components onto PCBs. This project is a fork of their lumenpnp-feeder which aims to reduce the BOM cost for DIY builders.

This project is still early in development and I'm currently working on validating the main design changes I've done.
