Description

We're interested in discussing ways to build and sustain alternative networks, spaces, and events in the open community. For example, holding regional satellite events of the open conferences, or a network/event for women working in the open community.

Update: We're designing ways to hold unofficial "overlay" conference tracks for the open conferences that would focus on the issues and experiences of women.

What are we working on during the do-a-thon? What kinds of support do we need?

We're looking for people who want to discuss ideas for building communities and planning events.

How can others contribute?

We're gathering ideas in this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IUyFGSLPhfPUeQJGLD0UOHEBbRBu2_oD_tLyT_1zC6Q/edit
