Is Sofa completely abstract? Do I have to make my own connectors (develop my own layer) to communicate with an e-Commerce API such as Amazon?

Do you have any basic concept on how I should wire
http://www.sofa.io/docs/#!/api/src/class/sofa.BasketService
to an e-commerce platform?
