Hello,
I installed magisk without using TWRP but via the boot.img file patch. I did this to preserve the system partition from any kind of modification, so that I can easily delete magisk and perform OTA updates without problems. In the app requirements it says "write system settings". Does this mean that the app is going to modify some system partition files?

Thanks

I think "write system settings" is simple used to keep the screen ON.

System settings has nothing to do with the system partition. This app does not touch or modify the system partition in any way.
