Hi, when the debugger launches is there a way to select a choice without using the mouse?

Unfortunately not yet, but I agree that would be a great feature to have! For instance, hitting 'q' to automatically abort back to the REPL.

It's been on my to-do list, but I might not get to it for a while. Feel free to dive into the code though and submit a pull request if you want!
