Use Case

As an author for the actin bend/twist coupling micro-publication, I need data to complete the accompanying figure.

Acceptance Criteria

.simularium trajectories for replicates of all the parameter sets needed for the figure, and aggregate plots for bending for all the replicates of each set.

Details

figure mockup:

Cytosim/MEDYAN model:

  • 1 linear actin filament, about 150nm length
  • how can we fix and displace ends in MEDYAN and Cytosim?

@ritvikvasan will be getting MEDYAN set up and running an example simulation
I will be reporting "buckling.cym" as an example of simulating bending over time
we haven't figure out how to directly simulate moving both ends of the filament toward each other yet!
