Looks like the only thing that is different from your reference board is there are no buttons (uses the top 6 GPIO pins only) and it's 32 rows instead of 64.
Looks like this will snap right in given the way you've structured your code. I was going to throw something together myself but am willing to contribute to your project.
Received mine yesterday and have it on my pi zero 2w. I've got a whole other set of things going on for some of the other GPIO pins and my use case has no need for buttons... was thinking a basic status display... possibly job progress and a couple other useful stats.
