Support for OpenSearch client

I am not sure if this belongs here but I could not find a more suitable repository. I am ok with closing/deleting/moving this to whatever you consider adequate.

I am wondering if there are any plans to support OpenSearch as part of this project or a different one? From a separations of concerns/usability perspective I believe it should not be part of this repo but I also suspect a lot of processing logic will be duplicated if a new project is started.
