Hello Everyone,

I want to first thank everyone's responses in advance, so 'thank you'. :)

I want to provision new bulbs to my network, without the app. I came across this repo and it seems promising, I was able to control and get info for an already provisioned bulb. However, given the VLAN I'm provisioning to has no internet access, so setting up new bulbs within the Wiz app is cumbersome.

I seem to be struggling with getting the new bulb to pair to the network (using this repo) when connected to the bulbs hotspot, it seems I'm not the only one either with this goal. Is there a way this can be done or does it strictly need to provisioned by the Wiz app?

Thank you again. :)

this project is good for using them once they are within your network, it dose not support the bluetooth or whatever it uses to set them up. Just use the official app and then you can use this, it is not a full blown replacement but a way to control them using a different environment... imho the work of reverse engineering for only that feature for a thing you do only once per device would be pointless ...
