It seems unable to run on the latest version of Sonoma 😢
using Release 1.7.2 (22) on macOS 14.0 (M1).

On my system (macOS 14 intel) works. The extension is enabled on the System Settings?

I can't find it in System Preferences / Extensions, even though I tried reinstalling it.

You must search on Added extensions.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it.
I tried following your instructions to search for a solution, but unfortunately, I'm still unable to resolve the issue. I have made sure that the "MediaInfo" option is selected in my added extensions, but right-clicking doesn't seem to have any effect. It seems this issue started happening after I upgraded to Sonoma.

After conducting multiple tests, I believe I may have identified the issue. It appears to be related to the synchronization of the Desktop and Documents folders in iCloud on Sonoma. When I enable this feature, I am unable to use MediaInfo. However, when I disable it, MediaInfo functions normally. This issue also seems to affect in Chrome when downloading files. You can find more information about this problem in the following Reddit thread: link.

It might have to do with the fact that the extension doesn't work with files stored in iCloud Drive.

But it worked in earlier macOS versions. On macOS Monterey, MediaInfo menu shows up even for files in iCloud Drive, while in Sonoma it is not
