pdf with printing to pdf cannot copy text from it #27
Comments
Cannot confirm this on macOS Monterey using Retain Formatting. Proper formatted RTF Text in Clipboard! |
OS: windows 10 x64 |
I can confirm. Same for Templates as well as retained text. |
I am also on Win 10 x64 and see this behavior |
This is an interesting one, because the same happens when using "Microsoft Print PDF" function in Chrome, but it doesn't happen in Firefox. I assume Logseq runs on Chromium, so the best way to fix this might be to open an issue with the Chromium project. |
I'm not so sure what the issue might be anymore. It seems Firefox does embed the text sometimes when using "Microsoft Print to PDF", but not all the time. It was reported to Microsoft a long time ago, but hard to tell if it's really their issue or just browsers not using the API properly. Would it maybe be possible for Logseq devs to make the standard Chrome dialog (which has the "Save to PDF" option, which works correctly) available? |
