## Description

The PR changes UUID package from `github.com/satori/go.uuid` to `to github.com/google/uuid`. 

## Why is this needed

The package `github.com/satori/go.uuid` is not actively maintained anymore and will eventually be marked as deprecated.

switch to a maintained uuid library

It seems [this uuid library was forked a few years ago due to lack of
maintenance][1]. There was also an API change between v1.2.0 and
master which can cause issues depending on why version gets downloaded
as I discovered recently.
