Running SAS Code with connection to SAS 9.4 remote

Is it possible to provide a step-by-step on how to "Running SAS Code with connection to SAS 9.4 remote"?
When you say "SAS 9.4 remote" do you mean SAS 9.4 Foundation or EBI-Compute/Workspace/Batch Server?

Also when the current instructions talk about SSH_AUTH_SOCK environment setting is that environment variable needed on the machine where VSCode is running or the machine where SAS 9.4 is running or both?

Hi @ahmedanadwc,
The SAS Extension for VS Code v0.1.5 was released last night. Besides new features, we've provided step-by-step instructions on setting up the connection to a SAS 9.4 remote server.
As for the connection (SSH) is more like command-line/batch submission using sas.exe. We are not submitting against a waiting server (ex. Workspace).
The env variable only needs set on the client machine where VS Code is running.

I'm trying to run SAS 9.4 Remote with VS Code installed on Mac and I get this error: SSH_AUTH_SOCK not set. Check Environment Variables.

The step-by-step instructions for Mac, in step 2 says: Ensure that SSH_AUTH_SOCK has a value echo $SSH_AUTH_SOCK
What is the value the SSH_AUTH_SOCK environment variable should take? In the Windows instructions you assign a value to that variable it's not clear for me what it should be in Mac.
