  1. Create and start an experiment with phenix
  2. Create and launch a new VM using minimega within the experiment (from 1.)

The new VM will not be accessible from the phenix gui, but will be from the minimega ui (both cli and gui). It would be nice if this new VM could function in phenix just as all the other VMs initially deployed.

This is definitely doable. Just need to think through what existing phenix capabilities rely on node data from the topology since that data will be missing from these VMs. May also want to think about how to alter the presentation of the VM in the phenix UI (if at all).
