We should include in the QuickStart or the Dev Guide how to configure the Launcher to load the Plugin. Specifically, add the following to /etc/rstudio/launcher.conf:

[cluster]
name=MyPlugin
type=MyPlugin
exe=/path/to/plugin/executable
