Toggle Button and Light Up

Is there a way to have buttons set to light up when selected.

ie one would be able to assign different profiles to some of the buttons and which ever profile was current that button would stay lit until another profile is chosen.

I understand that might involve using the x-touch editor software which I was able to really easily setup using parallels.
