It has become normal that our users wish to process existing files , either due to forgetting to put the file monitor on, or to back up exisiting data. Often the folder structure for these are not very nice and contain too many small files that break the monitor or cause really long upload.
The file monitor was not really designed for these processes, so we may not want to add such functionality into the file monitor itself and create a better way to move and catalogue large amounts of files.
We could think about adding a "Back up" engine that users could use to organise and transfer large amounts of files.
