Can there be a same version in Gulp? #116

@aneeshjajodia - http://blog.evanyou.me/2013/12/29/gulp-piping/ may be of interest. |
Would love to see this in Gulp. |
@dnozay Thanks mate. |
Would love to have the gulp version. Somehow feels like gulp is more faster and user-friendly. |
Definitely. I use this generator for pretty much all my builds - it's integral to my workflow. Having a faster, easier-to-modify Gulp version of it would be all kinds of awesome. I'll let you know if I ever come across anything similar. Might start looking soonish |
Oh that is perfect @liquidvisual. I am quite new to the field of js development, i.e. I haven't known much about gulp, grunt, yeoman, bower or any other ones until I actually got a Mac. I would love to automate my tasks for everything and gets things done faster. In addition, I would like to connect to you @liquidvisual. Tried finding your twitter handle, but failed at that. Mind connecting? |
Sure thing! I'm Mitch at: @liquidvisualAu or: hello [at] liquidvisual dot com |
Been there. Done that. |
This is probably a bit late but I've made a generator for Jekyll using Gulp and whatnot: https://github.com/sondr3/generator-jekyllized. Take a look if you want to. :) |
Awesome. Thanks for that! I'll give it a go on my next project. Out of interest have you found Gulp to be any measure faster than Grunt? |
I never really tried Grunt before using Gulp so I don't really know. I don't think there's much difference between them though, the difference would be on the plugins which they share anyways. Shouldn't make a noticeable difference I think. |
Interesting @sondr3! You've been using libsass too. Will try for my next project. |
Can there be a version of this in Gulp?
Thank you.
