Extend the xbmc monitor class (http://mirrors.xbmc.org/docs/python-docs/xbmc.html#Monitor-onDatabaseUpdated) to create a function that can run on the completion of either the music or video library updating. This could be used to trigger an addon or script via the RunScript() function.
