Permissive software license for ChIMES?

Hi @rk-lindsey, this is a great project and I plan to use it for my system where @nirgoldman and I are working on UO2 grain boundaries.

I had a question regarding its license. Are there any plans or chance to update the license to a permissive software license like BSD, MIT, or Apache? I completely understand if it is not possible.
