We use Gin framework which supports OpenTelemetry, so an integration could be enabled.

Secondly the upload endpoint could have its own traces embedded to be able to deep dive into what is going on there.

There should be a documentation on how to setup e.g. Jaeger locally for development, to make it easier to perform regular development.
