I don't know what part of the emulator code does this, but I'm fairly confident it does this so it keeps a consistent frame rate. I don't really notice it anymore, but if you continue to have a problem with it I can try digging through the code to find where it does this (but no promises). |

Ok, so if you run it with the GDB debugger and pause it with the screen teared, then take a screen shot it un-tears. All the while the process has been paused... So, I'm thinking there is some flush buffer that is meant to be called that isn't between frames sometimes? |

Hello everyone, i am having the same issue on iPad2 ios6gm and iphone4s ios6 gm - the emulator is really awesome and it is nice , but for playing longer the screen tearing is a bigger issue. i just tried it on an iphone4 running ios5.1 and there is no screen tearing. dunno if this information has any value. see ya |
There is massive screen tearing when a game scrolls quickly. Do you know what would be causing that?
