Backgrounds resolution choice

I don't know how you load the backgrounds, but it would be great if I can set up a preferred resolution for the background images.

Hello, sorry for late answer. Now i'm migrate to new extensions API (MV3).

Now the closest resolution to yours is taken, rounded down. For example, if you have a 1080p monitor, and the video is only 720p at 1440p, then 720p will be taken

Understood. But is there a way to create validation and do not load an image if it has a lower resolution than your monitor? Or create a choice for that? I don't want to load blurry images at all
