Extensions could help translators and developers to deliver much better quality translations. Extensions should be enabled per project.

Ideas for extensions:

  • Auto translate through service (Google Translate and others)
  • Typo check
  • Grammar check (like grammarly)
  • Parameter checks (are parameters used in the translation? In other translations? Is the format correct? Needed for different technologies, i.e. Angular i18n/Transloco, Play messages, Gettext, ...)
  • Check contents with glossary (is the naming correct?)
  • *.title keys are always title cased (i.e. Introduce Editor Extensions vs. Introduce editor extensions)
  • Display current vs. average character/word count throughout all translations for current key
