Whilst applying update 202102051 the following is reported (but only on my RPi3B+ with ROS DIY Image): wget -q https://github.com/rern/rAudio-1/raw/main/install.sh I don't use, and have never configured, the Spotify features on this installation. I can't get at the Features page to see how rAudio-1 is currently configure due to problems reported in #160 |

Turns out to be my understanding of the DIY ROS build. During the ROS build you are asked ti install various Features - Spotify being one of these. I said NO to all but Browser on RPi which is fine but the ones I didn't request were installed (as it says on the tin). I hade presumed that install on this build meant 'Enable' as per the the configuration steps in the prebuilt image. Once I rebuilt the ROS image with all the images installed and then 'disabled' the Features I didn't want in configuration then this issue when away. It appears that Spotify, snapclient and snapserver MUST be installed in the DIY build to prevent issues when configuration or future Addons/Updates are applied - might be others I haven't found yet :-) Chris |
