"Browser on RPi" doesn't stay enabled

The reason i want to enable this option, is because it allows me to use a USB PC remote to control rAudio1.
This was suggested by rern to me and has been working great on older builds.

Since i updated to a new build (flashing i20221117 to an SD card and then updating to 20221210) , when i try to enable "Browser on RPi"
it seems to enable at first, but then disables itself after a few seconds. The Remote remains non functional.

Clicking on the info button next to the "Browser on RPi" option gives the following:
