Is there any way for rAudio 1 to play compressed audio from CD or DVD drives?

Is there any way for rAudio 1 to play FLAC from CD or DVD drives? Currently, standard Red Book CD Audio plays fine, but I’ve not had any luck getting the system to recognize any form of compressed audio stored on CD-R or DVD±R discs, despite the fact that every tested format plays fine if first loaded to a flash drive.
