Regolith freezes on login and is completely unresponsive - Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Asahi port on mac M1)

Describe the bug
So I don't know if it's because of my macbook pro M1, but after installing Regolith and trying to log in, the keybindings won't work, the display is black except for the bar on the bottom and the minutes won't change.

To Reproduce
Install Ubuntu on a macbook pro M1 (https://ubuntuasahi.org/) and install regolith 3.2 via apt or ppa.

Expected behavior
Regolith working as usual.

Ah interesting, I have not tested on this hardware platform. As we already support linux arm64 I am not sure where I'd look to find the rootcause. Possibly the interaction between the graphics device and the WM/compositor. Do you see the same behavior with both the X11 and Wayland sessions?

I am experiencing the same issue on Ubuntu 24.10 Linux x86_64

I switched to wayland and it works, but now I'm experiencing this issue and also I can't log out...
