In the course of a workshop I wanted to demonstrate the difference between "Assignments" and "Single Team" mode. I stared the workshop from "Assignments" and created a couple of assignments with the workshop members beeing assignees:
When I then changed the team mode to "Single Team" in my own project owner view, the assignments tab was gone and I only saw the documents tab.
The "student" team member could afterwards see the base layer - but also all the other assignments that have been created before.
Shouldn't the student team member's view also be reduced to the base layer? It seemd confusing to me. Also, maybe, the project ower / admins should also see the assignments tab with base layer.
After disabling "Assignments" mode, IMO, assignments should neither be visible nor accessible any more - since you can't have both. I.e. annotations from assignments also shouldn't be visible in the base layer if you swich modes.

changed the title
Changing "team mode" doesn't affect users, just owners
Changing team mode disables assignments for owners, not for student users.
