I am not sure if it should support Ubuntu 20.04 but after installing I got it to work on most applications, however, I cannot get it to work on VSCode and Slack message.

The section on Troubleshooting is not very intuitive and even the references are not good enough, can you maybe improve the troubleshooting to a more intuitive format specially for getting it to work with specific applications?

Hm, interesting, it works for me on Slack and VSCode on Ubuntu 20.04. Maybe we need some investigation here in order to help you. Are under vanilla Gnome? Had you restarted your machine?

Just to share: the ones I had to change the .desktop shortcut to get it working were some wine applications.

About the troubleshooting session: the reference is the uim Troubleshooting section, as this package/repository is basically a setup from uim + a .XCompose file.

I'll love improve the troubleshooting section, so any suggestion you have or pull requests will be helpful.

Hi @raelgc , thank you for your reply. I was running on regular Ubuntu so after installing the Gnome Vanilla and some tweaking around it all works fine with all apps so far.

I meant that the troubleshooting was a bit hard to go through because I was not familiar at all with uim.
