It looks like 2.5.0 has been published and requires Java 11 to run.
I am not sure if this is intended.

If it is, I suggest to amend the release notes for 2.5.0 to call it out: https://github.com/quartz-scheduler/quartz/releases/tag/v2.5.0

Migration from javax to jakarta is a migration to JDK 17. Breaking everything. No surprises on my side. Maybe emphasize the "consequences".

this is intended; if you need to stick to old java versions use 2.4.x, see #1195

Thanks. All clear. I think the "Jakarta" mention does not clearly convey the Java 11 thing. IMHO it's worth pointing out Java 11 dependency in 2.5.0 release notes.
