Blank PDF Export Issue in QGIS Layout Function

What is the bug or the crash?

Hi,

I have an issue exporting as PDF from the layout function in QGIS software 3.40.0 Bratislava.

Updating the software from an older version unfortunately didn’t solve the issue.

The problem is that I have my map section, which I want to print from the layout function in QGIS.

Then I have the following settings available when it comes to exporting as a PDF. The crucial point here is that the map must be exported as a PDF, as this allows us in other cases to edit the map in Adobe, where we can add/remove/modify elements, etc., and thereby continue working with the map without needing to export it again.

Here are the export options. It might be the case that these settings have been entered incorrectly. I’ve tried clicking around as much as possible but unfortunately without success.

When selecting printer settings (not necessarily the ones entered in the screenshot), the exported PDF ends up completely blank, except for a few elements – and that’s the issue.

I have absolutely no idea how to solve the issue from here – any help would be greatly appreciated.
