UI/UX: Processing Toolbox cleanup: bundle very similar tools #59563

Relating to QGIS Processing framework or individual Processing algorithms
Feature description
Currently the processing toolbox contains a lot of tools that do very similar things, and have very similar names. The feature I request is to go through the toolbox and combine tools that share a lot of underlying processing work but are differentiated by minute options.
This would also allow for more unique icons for each tool, and would make the processing toolbox less overwhelming.
Furthermore this could help with translation efforts, that atm sometimes struggle to capture the minute differences, between the slightly differet tools
Additional context
A few examples of this overcrowding causing issues:
The following are examples i came across recently working together with a German friend who has their qgis set to German. These are some examples, but by far not an exhaustive list of tools in the processing toolbox that might be too similar for their own good
Vector General > Random points ...
Vector general contains 6 tools to create various features along or within other features
It doesn't seem like it would be much effort to have one tool that can deal with many of these cases.
You could let people choose if they want random points fully within a polygon, or random points in the polygon including on the boundary, after selecting the random points tool. And the decision if the points should be along a line or within a polygon could probably be handled by detecting the input geometries, much like a
geopandas.GeoSeries.sample_points()
behave. Here the difference between Random Points in Polygon and Random Points inside Polygon, is especially minute. They have different symbols but the semantic difference between inside and and in is not obvious. And if you take a look at the German Translation for example it gets lost completely because in and inside translate to the same preposition in German:
Cartography > Export ...
Cartography contains 6 different export tools, some of which take different input, but some of them just deal with things that really could just be export settings, like Export Atlas Layout to PDF (single file)/(multiple files)
Raster Creation
Raster creation contains fully 8 different create random raster layer tools, that only differ in the statistical distribution they use, and one more tool to create a uniform raster layer, all of which could just be contained in the same tool, with an option to chooose the distribution of raster values in the newly created raster layer.
Admittedly here, the icons for these tools are neat, tho i don't think they are that differentiable either: and if you're using QGIS in a language that's more verbose than English, you potentially end up with the differentiating suffix being cut off as well:
Database
Again database contains a lot of tools, that are only differentiated by input or output format, which could either be detected automatically or become options within an export, or execute SQL tool respectively
and on and on and on ...
