\section*{ABSTRACT}
This example paper contains instructions for the preparation of accepted papers for the Operational Research Society Simulation Workshop which will be held from 31 March \text{-} 2 April 2025. Please follow these guidelines as closely as possible. Information about the workshop can be found via the Operational Research Society website: \href{https://www.theorsociety.com/ORS/Events/2025/Simulation-Workshop/SW25-Main.aspx?EventKey=SW25&WebsiteKey=c1745213-aec0-45e5-a960-0ec98ebabd4e}{www.theorsociety.com/events/simulation-workshop}. The abstract text for the paper should be typed using Times New Roman 11-point, fully justified. Please note the setting of the word ``ABSTRACT'' at the beginning of the paragraph (bold, upper case, non-italics). The title, author names, and affiliation are to be positioned centrally as shown above. Further details of the paper format are contained in this sample paper.

\section{INTRODUCTION}
\label{sec:intro}

This paper provides instructions for the preparation of papers for the 2025
Simulation Workshop (SW25) using \LaTeX. There is a companion paper that
provides instructions for the preparation of papers using Microsoft Word.

\textbf{The easiest way to write a paper using \LaTeX\ that complies with the
requirements is to edit the source file, {\tt sw25paper.tex,} for this document.}

\section{LAYOUT OF THE PAPER}

\subsection{Basic Layout Details}

Major words should be capitalised.

Equation example below:

Preferably, figures should be inserted in the text, soon after they are referred to. The same
applies to tables. Figures, tables and equations should be numbered e.g. Figure 1. Place figure

Surname\_Author (2010) could also be cited parenthetically (Surname\_Author, 2010). \subsection{Length of the Abstract and Paper}
The abstract for the paper should be 150 words max. The overall length of the paper should be between 3 and 10 {\em Proceedings pages} (10-15 pages for the introductory/advanced tutorial stream).

You are responsible for ensuring that your final submission conforms to the specification in this
