You can use Magic Builder to download any version of Diablo 2 with all needed files into a single directory.

If you want you can manually download D2GS files from
https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-magic-builder/tree/master/module/include/d2gs
and Diablo 2 game files from
http://cdn.pvpgn.pro/diablo2/
