Tip
Please update this section with helpful notes for contributors.
- Types for fields are generated in
src/lib/buildFieldProperties.ts
. To modify a field’s type or add support for a new field type, edit thebuildFieldProperty
function. - Types for shared slices are generated in
src/lib/buildSharedSliceType.ts
. It callsbuildFieldProperties
to build its fields. - Types for custom types are generated in
src/lib/buildCustomTypeType.ts
. It callsbuildFieldProperties
to build its fields. buildFieldProperty
is recursive. If a field type contains other fields, such as groups or slice zones, it will callbuildFieldProperty
again.
- Any change to this library should be tested. A test can be as simple as ensuring a given model generates an expected type.
- Tests should be placed in the
test
directory using the existing file name convention. - Tests are written using Vitest.
- Mock models should be generated using
@prismicio/mock
.
