Found some Guides articles outdated:

  • Cropping with simple backgrounds
  • Cropping with complex backgrounds
  • Making properly centred spinners
  • Audio editing

and so on. Mostly outdated due to new versions of software, which brought feature changes (e.g. GIMP). And some articles depend on unavailable softwares (e.g. Timeanalyzer in How to time songs).

My doubt is whether it is necessary to keep the old version of articles (are they still used by someone?) or just update them to catch up with new versions of softwares.

The best approach here is to update them to the recent versions. Some of these guides were written months or even years ago so it's understandable they're referring to outdated functions in the mentioned programs.

Hey, I know this is a old issue but it's still open. I see you have specifically mentioned Timeanalyzer which I still have and can provide to keep the links up to date.
